Although losing an hour this weekend was brutal in its own right… gaining another hour of sunlight to play with the girls outside + the girls sleeping in a little bit longer makes it totally worth it!
With the sun being out more and actually warming up the days a bit more… we are playing outside way more! It means short and long walks to local parks and neighbor’s houses… swinging in the sun, sliding down slides… It is a welcome reprieve from winter!
Although I fell off the gratitude list making this week, I am enormously thankful for so much…. the bond between these two is especially beautiful to me these days:
I had this idea the other day…. I ran across some photos of a tea party the girls and I had together in Phoenix in 2009. They made me want to have another tea party. I pulled out the calendar to pick a date and saw that March 20 was the first day of spring. Perfect. We’ll call it the Welcome Spring! Tea Party and we are inviting all the neighborhood girls and moms that we know (plus a couple of others 
. I made my first shopping run at the local thrift shops and boy did I score some treasures. My mind is racing with ideas…. decorations, food, crafts, projects…. I am not sure who is going to have more fun. Me or the girls? Here is a little sneak peak of some of the inspiring pieces…
